Due to vandalism of buses, it was necessary to cancel school on Monday, November 28. The State of Indiana requires this day to be made up. School will be in session on Monday, February 20, for this purpose.
As a parent or guardian of MSD Warren Township, you have online access to your student's courses, grades, attendance, discipline and academic history. This is real time information and can be viewed from any location as long as you have access to a computer and Internet Explorer. Please go to www.warren.k12.in.us to print an application on line or call the school office at 317.532.2975.
If Warren Township schools are on a two-hour delay it means:

Dec. 14 – English make up
Dec. 15- Algebra make up
If you have questions or concerns regarding whether your student needs to retest, please call Miss Hipskind at 532-2980.

Warren Central High School Counseling Services will be hosting two 8th grade parent meetings. These meetings will be held on November 9th and 16th beginning at 6:30 pm. Topics to be covered will include preparation for high school, transcripts, dual credit and AP classes. The information presented at both meetings will be the same; therefore, you will only need to attend one meeting. The meetings will be held in the East Cafeteria and should last approximately 1 hour. Please enter the school through Door 1.
Renaissance Families,
As we begin the 2nd 9 weeks of the school year I want to update families on a change to our morning procedures. Beginning October 24th, backpacks will no longer be allowed at the Renaissance school. All students will be limited to small string bookbags that will be provided by the Renaissance school (if a student loses his/her backpack they will be able to purchase a replacement for a nominal fee). Female students will only be permitted to carry small purses no larger than a small book size. This is being done in an effort to expedite our morning entry process and maintain a safe and secure school environment. Thank you for ensuring that your student is complying with this new procedure.
Also, I want to remind everyone of a few key dress code concerns. The middle school dress code was revised and will be in effect as students return to school on October 24th. This was reviewed with all middle school students prior to Fall Break. It will also be posted for parents on the Renaissance website. The dress code policy is similar to its previous form, but has been streamlined and clarified. As a reminder to our high school and middle school students and their families, hats and headcoverings, leggings and flip-flops, slippers, or house shoes are not appropriate school attire for any student at the Renaissance school. Students not following dress code may not be allowed to attend class until they are in compliance.
I hope the fall break has been a time of rest and renewal for you and your family. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us with any questions at 532-2975.
Sincerely,
Matt Dingman
Director of Alternative Education
Renaissance School
