Missoula Children's Theatre production for 2015 is "Rapunzel". Auditions will be Monday, February 2 at 4:30 p.m. in the Creston Middle School Auditorium.
MSD Warren Township students in grades K - 8 are eligible to audition for approximately 65 acting/singing roles in the play. No advance rehearsals are needed for the auditions.
The performances will be at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 7 in the Creston Auditorium, 10925 East Prospect Street.
Students who audition must have a clear calendar for the week of February 2 through 6 from 4:30 to 8:45 p.m. nightly and all day Saturday, Feb 7, for the dress rehearsal and two performances. These actors must be available each evening for the entire week for rehearsal and preparation for the public performances. That means no music lessons, ball games or doctor appointments for that week.
Admission tickets will be available at the door for $5.00 per person for ages 6 and over.
It is the time of year when it could be necessary for schools to close early or be called off due to severe weather conditions. Information regarding closing can be obtained by listening to your favorite radio or TV station. Our automated calling system will call the home of all students using the number you have supplied to the school. Calls will occur as early as 5:30 a.m. and will report either delays or closings due to weather.
Be sure the school has your correct phone number.
The MSD of Warren Township will sponsor a Legislative Forum on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. This forum is open to the public and the Warren Board of Education strongly encourages staff members, parents, students, and community patrons to attend and share your ideas and concerns with our state legislators.
A new entrance is being built at the Renaissance School to welcome our guests. Door 1 is still accessible during this project.
The Rights and Responsibilities Handbook is available online. You may request a hard copy through the school office.
Renaissance hosted their 4th annual transition fair, Thursday, November 13th. Students and families had the opportunity to meet with representatives from IVY Tech, Vincennes, International Business College, UPS, National Guard, U.S. Army, and the Center For Leadership Development. Thanks to all of our representatives for sharing this evening, and a special thanks to Chef Dulce and the Chartwell's crew for the tasty cookies and lemonade and Yoshida Bolds for scheduling all of the representatives!
The first crop has been harvested! Lettuce and radishes have been harvested and the students can see the results of their hard work. The partnership between Chartwell's and Mrs. White's Science class is growing!

At this time, exact dates are not available but we can expect the FluMist to be administered during the first part of November. Information will be coming home with your student. It is important that the required forms are returned to school by November 3rd.

There will be NO CHARGE for the FluMist regardless of insurance coverage or self-pay.
FluMist will be for the students of Warren Township only (no other family members). *Children with chronic health issues such as asthma and diabetes must obtain their flu vaccine from their healthcare provider. **children under the age of 9 years may require a second dose of the vaccine at a later date, and families will be notified if this is the case for their child.
